Hello buying world! I wanted to take a moment to introduce to you Pillar Surplus. We are a growing online seller of surplus parts and commodities. Pillar Surplus was born as an outlet for the left-over items and overstock that our parent company acquired through the auctions and and buy-outs that the company participated in. Instead of sending these items to the scrapyard, they took up valuable warehouse space and collected dust. Finally, in 2013, the amount of stuff that had been squirreled away over the years became too much to ignore. 

 BEHOLD...Pillar Surplus was born. At first, the volume of items was overwhelming. Then, a plan was devised and inventorying these items began. Items were assigned lot numbers for identification and pricing was decided. Items were listed on eBay for the buying world to purchase. It was becoming apparent that the stock pile of items was large enough to warrant a website in hopes to reach the rest of the buying community. Getting the surplus items in to the hands of the people needing them was a slow and nearly unfruitful task. Time has passed and now there is a nicely cultivated and ever growing base of customers. A new website was built and expansions have been made to build the company.
Pillar Surplus carries bearings, hydraulic cartridges, electrical motors, safety equipment, tools, shop machinery, heavy equipment replacement parts, manuals, vehicle parts, fuses, electrical boxes among many, many other items. Our inventory categories continue to grow with each crate that is opened and each auction that items are purchased from. While most of our surplus items are geared toward one industry or another, that doesn't stop us from carrying items that the average homeowner could/would use at home. Our access to surplus items is not limited to any specific source. Pillar Surplus carries new old stock and used items. The condition is noted so the customer always knows what they are getting. Photos showing the true condition of the item are provided to show this stated condition. There may be some dust on the product and some wear on the box but don't let that discourage you!

Pillar Surplus encourages you to take a moment to browse the website and do it often. We rarely have items in stock that can be replenished. So, when it's gone it's gone.

After nearly thirty years of rebuilding, manufacturing, and supplying parts and machines, along with collecting even more parts from auctions and close-outs, stock started to overfill with units unrelated to Pillar Manufacturing ( pillarmfg.com ). As theses parts began to stock pile, it was realized that something had to be done. The question of “what” had became tough and it would just be a waste to send all of these items to a landfill. There had to be another way. So with deep thought, an outlet was born called Pillar Surplus in 2013. Pillar Surplus is a business built off countless dusty new and good used parts.
